Description
Jujube honey comes from the Highlands of Madagascar. From November to January, bees forage on the flowers of the wild jujube tree, which bears jujube fruits. It is one of the rarest honeys in our collection, jarred without being heated or pasteurised.
What you will taste
A golden amber colour and a smooth texture. The nose is woody and fruity, with a caramelised touch. On the palate, it is both mild and intense, with a very long finish.
How to enjoy it
Pure, by the spoonful, to appreciate all its finesse. With fresh goat’s cheese or a mature cheese such as Comté. In Middle Eastern pastries, such as baklava or gazelle horns.
