Description
Niaouli honey comes from the coastal areas of Madagascar, where niaouli blossoms almost all year round. Bees forage on its flowers, and the honey is jarred without being heated or pasteurised.
What you will taste
A russet amber colour and a dense, creamy texture. The nose is powerful and exotic: lemongrass, mango, coffee and vanilla. On the palate, it is indulgent, with a long finish of salted butter caramel. A honey for those who love bold flavours.
How to enjoy it
Stirred into a hot infusion, spiced warm milk or a thyme infusion. On bread with salted butter. With strong cheeses such as Mimolette, Livarot or blue cheese. To glaze a duck breast.
