Description
Mango blossom honey comes from the Cascades region, in south-western Burkina Faso. From February to April, bees forage on flowering mango trees. The honey is harvested by local beekeepers, then jarred without being heated or pasteurised.
What you will taste
A golden amber colour and a very smooth, liquid texture. The nose is delicate, true to mango blossoms. On the palate, a sweet, tropical honey with a gently fruity finish. A soft, gentle honey, ideal for discovering African honeys.
How to enjoy it
On an exotic fruit salad or in a smoothie. Drizzled over panna cotta or served with a sorbet. With mild cheeses such as burrata or fresh goat’s cheese. To sweeten green tea, plain yoghurt or porridge.
