Description

White pepper from Benin is harvested in the Malanville region, in the north of the country. It comes from the same plantations as our black pepper, but from fully ripe berries picked later and gently stripped of their outer skin. The result is a much finer, more subtle spice than its black counterpart. Its rarity and artisanal character make it an exceptional seasoning, especially loved by those who appreciate delicate flavours.

Tasting our white pepper from Benin

The whole white peppercorns stand out first for a softer, rounder taste, with a noticeable warmth but no excessive heat. You will also find surprising, lightly fermented notes, typical of its traditional preparation. Whole peppercorns keep their aromas intact, so you enjoy optimal freshness when you grind them.

A subtle and elegant spice in the kitchen

This pepper is 100% natural with no additives, and very versatile. It is the ideal companion for dishes where you want discreet seasoning: it beautifully enhances white sauces and delicate fish, fits perfectly into refined dishes and gives your recipes a subtle, authentic African touch.
