Description
Mangrove honey comes from the coasts of Madagascar. In the mangroves, forests of mangrove trees with roots plunging into the water, bees forage on the flowers all year round. The honey is jarred without being heated or pasteurised.
What you will taste
A light, almost transparent colour that quickly crystallises into beautiful white crystals. The nose is pure, with a marine note. On the palate, it is very sweet, with a long finish hinting of the sea. A surprising honey, best discovered with seafood.
How to enjoy it
As a finishing touch on oysters or a seafood platter. With sheep’s cheese. In Asian cuisine: teriyaki sauce, mild miso or pad thai.
